Pursuant to § 8 par. 1 letters a) and b) of Act No. 67/2022 Coll. On certain measures in the field of education in connection with the armed conflict on the territory of Ukraine caused by the invasion of the troops of the Russian Federation, and pursuant to Art. 18 par. 4 of the Statute of the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the Czech Technical University in Prague, I hereby complement the Dean´s Measure No. 12/2021, Conditions for Admission to Study in the Bachelor Degree Study Programmes Implemented at the Faculty of Civil Engineering CTU in Prague in the 2022/2023 Academic Year, and the Dean´s Measure No. 13/2021, Conditions for Admission to Study in the Master Degree Study Programmes Implemented at the Faculty of Civil Engineering CTU in Prague in the 2022/2023 Academic Year, by adding the following Measure related to the applicants for study who are foreign citizens.

The Dean of the Faculty of Civil Engineering CTU in Prague (hereinafter the "Faculty") hereby modifies the conditions for admission to study for the applicants – foreign citizens who are under temporary protection under Act No. 65/2022 Coll. On certain measures in the field of education in connection with the armed conflict on the territory of Ukraine caused by the invasion of the troops of the Russian Federation (hereinafter "temporary protection"), i.e. who have been granted a visa for the purpose of a tolerated stay on the territory of the Czech Republic (hereinafter the "respective visa") and who will prove this fact at the Faculty Student Administration no later than by 30.9.2022.

1. The applicants for study who comply with the conditions under Article 1 of this Measure, can:
   1. apply for the return of the administration fee related to the acceptance of the application for study, no later than by 30. 9. 2022.
   2. in the case of their interest in studies in a Bachelor Degree study programme taught in Czech, submit a document certifying their knowledge of Czech at a B1 level, issued either by the Czech Technical University in Prague (hereinafter "CTU") or Charles University, no later than by 14. 9. 2022.
   3. apply for the assignment of the entrance examination in Mathematics to a Bachelor Degree study programme taught in Czech, translated into English, no later than 5 working days before the day of holding the entrance examination,
   4. apply for an interview to the Bachelor Degree study programme of Architecture and Building Sciences conducted in English, no later than 5 working days before the day of holding the entrance examination,
   5. apply for holding the entrance examination on-line on an individually set date, if the applicant is not staying on the territory of the Czech Republic, no later than 5 working days before the announced date of holding the entrance examination,
   6. apply for individual on-line registration for study, in the applicant is not staying on the territory of the Czech Republic, no later than by 9. 9. 2022,
   7. have their secondary education recognized on the territory on the Czech Republic (so-called nostrification) for admission to Bachelor Degree studies via the CTU Rector´s Office, i.e. the applicant does not have to undergo this process at the Municipalities of Regional Capital Cities in the Czech Republic.       The date for submitting the nostrification result at FCE CTU is by 2. 9. 2022.
2. Based on an individual application and the application form sent by the applicants complying with the conditions under Article 1 of this Measure, the Faculty Dean can accept the applications for study to the Master Degree study programmes of Civil Engineering and Water and Environmental Engineering, which will be submitted between 1. 6. – 31. 7. 2022. These applicants will be assigned an individual date for the entrance examination by the Dean.

1. The applicants submit their applications in one of the following ways:
   1. in person at the Faculty Student Administration (administered by Mgr. Zuzana Kuželová, Room C-115),
   2. electronically by e-mail at: zuzana.kuzelova@fsv.cvut.cz,
   3. in writing
      • Handing in via the Faculty Mail Room
      • Sending by post at the address

   The application must include the following information:
   • applicant´s name and surname,
   • date and place of birth,
   • application form number,
   • what modification under Article 2 of this Measure the applicant is applying for,
   • if the applicant has already been granted temporary protection/the respective visa, they enclose a verified copy of this document to the application. During personal handing in at the Student Administration, the document can be verified by the Student Administration officer in charge.
   More modifications of the conditions for admission to study can be applied for within one submitted application.
2. If the applicant for study has not reached the age of 18 years by the registration date, the applicant´s legal representative or another major accompanying person must be present at the registration.
3. The tuition fees for studies in the Bachelor and Master Degree study programmes taught in English will be waived to the students who comply with the conditions under Article 1 of this Measure.
4. If an applicant has been admitted to study based on the application of the modifications of the conditions for admission as specified in Article 2 of this Measure and fails to document that they are under temporary protection by 30. 9. 2022 at the latest, a disciplinary proceeding for cheating will be opened against them, which may lead to their expulsion.

1. The complementation of the conditions for admission to study in the study programmes at the Faculty of Civil Engineering CTU in Prague with the registration for the 2022/2023 academic year was approved by the Faculty Academic Senate on 1. 6. 2022.
2. This Measure comes into effect on the day of its announcement.
