Verification of materials and structures for radioactive waste disposal

The storage of radioactive waste is a highly topical issue affecting society as a whole. It is very important to verify the proposed systems before the final underground storage of radioactive waste. The topic of the thesis will be to design verification experiments for a selected part of the deep repository. The thesis will include research and experimental verification of the functionality of safety barriers/materials used and structural solutions.
