Important notice!

  1. At the start of registration in IS KOS all students have a preset time schedule of compulsory courses in keeping with the prescribed study plan.

  2. After the expiry of 14 days from the first student´s entry in the time schedule the personal time schedule set up by the student is automatically cancelled if the student fails to register in person at the Faculty Student Registrar. In that case, the student must reregister for the remaining vacancies in the timer schedule. (For an example of time schedule expiry see Note below.)

  3. Until registration at the Student Registrar the student has a 14-day period when they can cancel previously registered courses or register for new courses if there is enough course capacity. After registration at the Student Registrar only the Student Registrar can cancel a registered course/enter a new course in the time schedule.

  4. The student has an option of making their own modifications of the time schedule of courses registered in KOS even after registration at the Student Registrar - by the end of the 2nd week of the semester, i.e. by 25.2.2011 11.00 a.m.

  5. If a student is unable to register for any course in the time schedule for capacity reasons, they must in any case register for the course in IS KOS in general without a specified group and time. After regular registration has ended (11.2.) the time schedule capacity will be adjusted and the student shall register for the course in the time schedule during the period of changes in registration.

Note: For registration at the Student Registrar there are 14 full days available starting on the day following the first entry in the time schedule. If e.g. a student prepares their course registration on 1.9., they may change the registration during another 14 days (i.e. 1.9.-15.9. including); registration at the Student Registrar must be made no later than on 15.9.

If a student receives an automatic e-mail from KOS - e.g.: "on 14.9. you have one more day left before your time schedule expires" - it means that the student has the last chance to register at the Student registrar in person on 15.9. without the cancellation of the prepared time schedule, the time schedule is cancelled in the night of 15./16.9.

Instruction in the spring semester 2010/2011 will start on 14. 2. 2011 and end on 13. 5. 2011.
The exam session of the spring semester starts on 16. 5. 2011.

We hereby ask students to register in their own interest at the Student registrar only after they have thoroughly considered whether they had entered all required courses in IS KOS. Analogically, in the period of changing registration we recommend to make all corrections at once. This approach will ensure a smooth registration process without unnecessary queues at the Faculty Student Registrar.
