NOTICE TO STUDENTS STARTING BACHELOR´S OR MASTER´S DEGREE STUDY

related to entering the bank account number into the KOS information system

 

NOTIFICATION!
This notice also applies to students admitted to Master´s degree study as the Master´s degree study forms its own independent database in the IS KOS system and data from the Bachelor´s degree database cannot transferred.

Deadline:

for entering the account number in the KOS database - 16.10. in the first month of the first year of study

Procedure:

After logging into the KOS web interface (so-called KOSi), open the "Osobní data/Personal Data" form in the "Ostatní/Other" menu.
Then select the "Upravit účet/Update Account" or "Upravit kontaktní adresu/Update Personal Data" option.
The form "Změna osobních údajů/Change in Personal Data" will open.
New bank account numbers are saved by clicking on the "Ulož/Save" tab located under the "Bankovní účet/Bank Account" button.
The new contact address is saved by clicking on the "Ulož/Save" tab located under the "Kontaktní adresa/Contact Address" button.
After selecting the postal code (PSČ) in the contact address, the data relevant to this postal code (District, Municipality, Part of Municipality) will automatically appear. The street name and house number must be filled in manually.

Students notify the Faculty of their bank account numbers exclusively by directly entering this data into the KOS database, not in writing.

All Faculty payments (accommodation grants – eligible in the case of a permanent address outside Prague, special-purpose scholarships – supporting a study stay abroad, merit scholarships, etc.) are done by bank transfer, i.e. by automatic transfer of the amount to the student´s bank account number entered into the KOS database.

The contact address for delivering postal communication - see §63 of Act No. 111/1998 Coll. (the Higher Education Act) is announced by students in the same way, i.e. by the direct entering of these data into the KOS database. If a student does not upload a contact address into the KOS database, the Faculty sends all postal communication to the permanent address.

Caution:
A careful check of the entered account number and contact address is recommended!
