METHODOLOGICAL INSTRUCTION OF THE TREASURER OF THE FACULTY OF CIVIL ENGINEERING CTU IN PRAGUE

for managing the Faculty in restricted operation

 

I Introductory provisions

  1. This methodological instruction is issued as a follow-up to the Dean´s Order on mitigating the risks of the Coronavirus infection and further specifies its effect. The provisions of this methodological instruction do not apply in the cases where stricter conditions, rules and procedures are set by legal regulations or other binding measures of a higher legal force.

  2. This methodological instruction can be additionally specified. This will always be done by issuing a full new version of the methodological instruction, and the principal changes will be commented on in the accompanying information. A potential new version of the methodological instruction will be sent to the students and employees by e-mail and, at the same time, published on the Faculty website.

  3. This methodological instruction complements the methodological instructions issued by the Vice-Dean for Education and the methodological instructions issued by the Vice-Dean for Science and Research. In the event of a conflict between this methodological instruction and the methodological instructions issued by the Vice-Deans, the Vice-Deans´ methodological instructions apply.

 

II.   Measures to mitigate the risks of infection

  1. Respiratory tract protective cover: In the case of a respiratory tract infection and, at the same time, a necessity of staying at the Faculty, the use of a respiratory tract protective cover (mask or respirator) is recommended to protect the people around.

  2. Meeting: A safe social distancing of at least 1.5 metres is recommended while meeting other people on business.

  3. Ventilation: Thorough ventilation is recommended during instruction and meetings, or at any events where   large number of people are present, if the room is not equipped with air conditioning, which will provide ventilation.

  4. Hand hygiene: Each student and employee is obliged to keep their hands clean (special disinfectant soap is available at all toilets, hand sanitizers are installed at some places at the Faculty).

  5. Organisation of events: All events 1 must be organised in accordance with the Government regulations currently in force (particularly in terms of compliance with safety measures and the limitation of the maximum number of participants). Events must be assessed individually.

  6. Coronavirus infection: In the case of a suspected Coronavirus infection, mandatory quarantine or a confirmed disease, the students and employees must follow the applicable Government regulations, mainly respect any potential quarantine measures.

 

III.   Final provisions

  1. This methodological instruction replaces the previous version of the Faculty Treasurer´s Methodological Instruction No. 1/2020 for managing the Faculty in restricted operation, version 2022/02/19.
  2. This methodological instruction comes into effect on 14. 3. 2022.
