Annotation: Project definition and production processes. Project Life Cycles. The project goal setting. Organizational structures - project organization, matrix organizational form. Project management team and the project office. The description of the contracts. Network scheduling techniques - CPM, PERT. Management of the resources. Project management information systems. Analytical methods used in the project management. The content of the feasibility studies.
Obsah
The course covers standard approach to project management. Main topics: Project definition, Project Life Cycles. Organizational structures - traditional organization, matrix organizational form. Project management team and the project office. The description of the main contracts. Network scheduling techniques - CPM, PERT. Management of the resources. Analytical methods used in the project management. The content of the feasibility studies. The course leads to an understanding of why we are late with a project, why there are cost overruns and what the methods of solution are.
