The course is focused on design of steel, steel and concrete concrete composite and timber load-bearing structures. 1. Steel material, production; structures fabrication and erection. 2. Steel properties; limit states. 3. Global structural analysis, cross section classification. 4. Stability of columns, critical length. 5. Beams, bending resistance; shear resistance. 6. Lateral torsional buckling. 7. Welded connections. 8. Bolted connections. 9. Steel and concrete composite structures. 10. Corrosion and fire protection of steel structures. 11.
