Conditions for granting scholarships
Merit scholarships can only be granted to the student who meets the prescribed criteria for granting the scholarship.
In a given semester or academic year, a student is entitled to a merit scholarship for outstanding academic achievements in the previous
semester or academic year, if in the relevant term, i.e. in the semester (academic year) for which the scholarship is awarded,
- he/she obtained a minimum of 30 credit points (60 credit points) for completed courses,
- the number of graded courses in the semester or academic year was greater than or equal to 4 or 8, respectively,
- the student’s weighted study average for that semester or academic year was less than or equal to 1.50,
- he/she studied in a full-time form of study within the standard length of study
Merit scholarships are not granted for the months of July and August.
In the case that students only work on their Master or Bachelor thesis and take their final graduation examination during the academic year,
they can be granted a scholarship for a maximum of five months of the given academic year.

Conditions for granting scholarships
A student is entitled to obtain the scholarship in the current semester, if he/she has complied with the following criteria for granting
the scholarship in the previous semester:
- obtained a minimum of 20 credit units
- reached a weighted study average of max. 2.500
- was a student of FCE CTU in the branch of Building Structures
- studied within the standard length of study.
The amount of the scholarship is set as the percentage calculated from the amount of the fee for study in English.
The scholarship is paid in April in the spring semester, and in December in the winter semester. Students do not have to apply for
the scholarship; the Faculty pays it automatically based on the study results entered in IS KOS.

Conditions for granting scholarships
- Social scholarships are granted to students who are entitled to a child benefit, if the decisive family income determined for the purpose
of the child benefit does not exceed 1.5 times the minimum subsistence income of the family.
- Social scholarships are granted for the standard period of study for each full calendar month for which the student qualifies for the social
scholarships, except for July and August. The monthly amount of the scholarship corresponds to one quarter of the basic minimum wage rate
per month, with the stipulated amount of the scholarship being rounded up to the whole ten crowns.
- The student is entitled to the scholarship based on a written certificate issued at their request by the State Social Support office of the Czech
Republic, who thereby certifies, that the family income determined for the purposes of the child benefit payment for the third calendar quarter of the year
did not exceed the product of the family subsistence minimum and a coefficient of 1.5. The certificate for granting
the scholarship is valid for 21 months from the end of the quarter for which the family income was calculated. A student can only
claim the scholarship once within a certain period of time.
- Social scholarships shall be paid on the basis of the relevant Bursar’s Directive in accordance with the rules of the Ministry of Education,
Youth and Sports (hereinafter referred to as the "Ministry") for the provision of grants and subsidies to public higher education
institutions.

Conditions for granting scholarships
The accommodation scholarship shall be granted to a student who fulfils all of the following criteria:
- is enrolled in a full-time degree programme (be it Bachelor’s, Master’s or doctoral)
- is enrolled in a degree programme which is his/her first degree programme or is enrolled in a degree programme which is a follow-up to
that degree programme or has changed his/her degree programme and has had his/her previous studies recognised (studies in degree programmes
that an applicant may have enrolled in and completed between 1 May and 30 October of one calendar year are not taken into account).
In the case of multiple concurrently studied degree programmes, the scholarship is granted at most once and is granted for the degree programme
in which the student enrolled earlier.
- has not exceeded the standard length of study in any of the degree programmes which he/she is concurrently enrolled in
- does not have a permanent address within the district, where his/her studies take place
- does not have a permanent address in Prague, if his/her place of study is in Prague
The scholarship for students in Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programmes is granted for the period of the academic year excluding
the months of July, August and September; the scholarship for students in doctoral degree programmes is granted for the period of the academic year
excluding the month of July
Accommodation scholarships shall be paid back quarterly.
Students do not have to apply for accommodation scholarships. They become eligible for accommodation scholarships by satisfying the
requirements stated in the Rector’s Decree No. 14/2024 -
